Bahrain Sports Day was designated a half working day under the endorsement of H.R.H. Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the initiative of H.H. Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of H.M. the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs; Chairman, Supreme Council for Youth & Sports; President, Bahrain Olympic Committee.
On that occasion, Tatweer Petroleum hosted a sports day event for its employees on February 2, 2023, at the Royal Golf Club in Riffa Views to coincide with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s National Sports Day. The sports program prepared by Tatweer Petroleum included fitness classes, private classes for women, paddle, football, volleyball and many other sports exercises. Tatweer later distributed healthy snacks and juices to its employees to raise awareness of healthy nutrition.
Bahrain Sports Day is held annually with the participation of the social sector of public and private institutions. It aims to promote public health by encouraging people to practice sports as a lifestyle.
