Manama - Tatweer Board meeting was held on Tuesday, 23rd August 2011 at Tatweer Petroleum Company main office.
H.E. Dr. Abdul-Hussain bin Ali Mirza, Minister of Energy and Chairman of National Oil & Gas Authority chaired the eighth meeting of the Board of Directors with representatives from Occidental, Mubadala and Nogaholding companies as members of the Board.
The meeting discussed a number of corporate matters as well as Tatweer Business Improvement Project and the audit plan that was proposed for the Company. The Board then was updated on company operations including the increasing level of oil and gas production. His Excellency was satisfied with the progress Tatweer has made so far and congratulated Tatweer for the achievements made in Gas Compression projects.
H.E. Dr. Mirza expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the wise political leadership of HM King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and HRH Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince for their continued support to the Petroleum industry in the Kingdom.
Dr. Mirza, also, conveyed his thanks and appreciation to the Executive Management and all employees of Tatweer Petroleum for their dedication and hard work.
