THE 2022 HSE PERFORMANCE FOR TATWEER PETROLEUM EMPLOYEES IMPROVED IN COMPARISON TO 2021 BY WHICH TATWEER PETROLEUM EMPLOYEES WERE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE YEAR WITH ZERO (0) RECORDABLE INJURIES.
In 2022, Tatweer Petroleum Company continued its focus on improving HSE Management System through ISO 45001:2018 and obtaining stronger employee involvement, both on an individual and management level, in matters pertaining to HSE. The second annual surveillance audit was conducted successfully without any negative findings. As a result, the Company will continue being certified, which must be maintained during the year 2023.
The 2022 HSE performance for Tatweer Petroleum employees improved in comparison to 2021 by which Tatweer Petroleum employees were able to complete the year with zero (0) recordable injuries. Tatweer Petroleum focused on improving HSE performance on all Company levels and departments in collaboration with contractors,

and the HSE department held the Annual Contractors Forum for the year 2022 to discuss contractors HSE related matters and means of collaboration, to improve the contractors HSE performance.
Furthermore, as per the directives of the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s towards achieving the 2030 Vision, Tatweer Petroleum established the Environment, Social Governance (ESG) section in 2022 to demonstrate its commitment towards promoting sustainable operations, and pledged to exert every possible effort to manage its activities impact on society and environmental sustainability. Environmental performance improved in 2022 compared to 2021. Flaring decreased by 50% of the set KPI for the year 2022.
