Tatweer Petroleum intends to install fourteen LP remote GDUs with capacity of 100 MMSCFD
    Non-Associated Gas (NAG) Projects
As a continuation of the NAG Long Term Development Plan, multiple NAG strategic projects have been executed in 2022. These critical NAG projects are being completed to enhance and maintain NAG system deliverability and to establish a reliable Khuff gas supply source to meet the Kingdom’s gas demand.
Below is a high-level summary of the key strategic NAG project updates for 2022:
 Summer 2022 Khuff Backup Plan: To ensure the Kingdom of Bahrain’s increasing domestic energy demand was met, twelve (12) new Khuff wells were required to be put on production by summer 2022. As such, pipelines have been installed from the Khuff wells to legacy GDU & MGIH facilities and all twelve (12) wells were put on production.
 Low Pressure (LP) GDUs: In order to maintain gas deliverability from the Bahrain Field to meet the gas demand for the period of 2023 to 2025, Tatweer Petroleum intends to install fourteen (14) LP remote GDUs with capacity of 100 MMSCFD, twelve of which are connected to existing/new wellhead facilities. To achieve this, an EPC Contract has been awarded in August 2021 to Thermo Design Engineering Company (TDE) and EPC activities are in progress.
 NAG Compression Facilities (NCFs 01 to 07): In order to maximize the depletion of the Khuff reservoir, NAG compression facilities (NCF) are being installed at seven (7) locations in the Bahrain Field to supply high-pressure gas for internal Tatweer Petroleum usage (gas injection/gas lift) and to enhance the NAG System deliverability in order to meet the Kingdom’s Khuff gas demand. NCF1 & 2 have been started up and NCF3-7 are under Contract award.
